1. The e-UVT network shall be used only for educational or research purposes, not for commercial, political, personal or entertainment purposes, etc. It is forbidden to send e-mails for the purpose of providing services, promoting companies in the business environment, marketing of any kind, sending questionnaires (survey type and / or opinions).
2. The IT&C UVT Service may at any time permanently or temporarily suspend access to a computer resource for any user who does not comply with this regulation.

Communication on UVT computer services involves dialogues in an academic style, characterized by decency, kindness, goodwill and excludes antisocial, xenophobic, homo-phobic behavior or any other type of behavior that incites discrimination, hatred, physical or verbal violence. Licensed and / or obscene language in discussions or e-mails is prohibited.
3. Each user has access to the network and is directly responsible for the facilities used in his account, being the only one who can benefit from them, due to the rights associated with the user account. If the user finds / suspects that his / her password has been discovered, he / she will notify the UVT IT&C Service as soon as possible using the address support@e-uvt.ro. E-UVT account credentials are non-transferable.
4. The user is obliged to keep the confidentiality of the credentials used to access the e-UVT services as well as the e-mails received for this purpose.
University staff will never ask for user credentials. Such requests will be reported to the UVT IT&C Service.
5. Internet services shall be used in accordance with the principles set out in point 1. The misuse of e-UVT or external services, systems, servers shall be prohibited. Access to services and / or systems fraudulently both in the e-UVT network and in external networks is illegal and will be sanctioned depending on the severity of the fact.
6. Office365 services are valid only for the contractual period between the user and UVT.
7. The services of Azure Dev Tools for Teaching & Training (former Dreamspark) are valid for the faculties with specialization based on IT&C:
- Faculty of Chemistry, Biology Geography
- Faculty of Economics and Business Administration
- Faculty of Physics
- Faculty of Political Science, Philosophy and Communication Sciences
- University of mathematics and Informatics
8. Computer programs and applications within the e-UVT digital communications network are used for teaching and research purposes, not for commercial, political, entertainment purposes. Any use of these computer resources for purposes other than those stated above will be sanctioned
9. Only licensed software is used in accordance with UVT and faculty licensing agreements. Downloading and installing pirated software on UVT PC equipment is strictly prohibited. Both the presence of pirated software on personal equipment and the consequences of its use fall under the responsibility of the user.
10. In the use of the computer systems implemented within UVT, the various categories of users (students, teachers, administrative staff, management), will be respected the access rights granted. Any attempt to breach the security of those systems will result in total or partial blocking of access to the facilities offered by those systems.
11. Acceptance of this Regulation implies responsible use of the equipment, facilities and resources provided. The equipment and resources provided by UVT will not be damaged / destroyed / misused.
12. If a user refuses access to an E-UVT service, he / she will have to notify the IT&C Service in writing. The reason must be well-founded. Access can be resumed at any time in this case.
13 Violation of the provisions of this regulation shall be sanctioned by disciplinary measures and in accordance with the law in force. All actions contrary to the law will be reported to the competent bodies.
