The West University of Timisoara is registered in the EduRoam federation, thus the following situations are possible when connecting to Wi-Fi networks:
I. Access to the wireless network within the West University of Timisoara
II. Access to partner institutions:
- access is allowed in the WiFi networks of institutions (universities, research institutes, schools, colleges, high schools, etc.) for all students registered in the e-uvt field.
- Authentication is performed using the same coordinates as the EduRoam WiFi network within the University, namely the e-mail address (name.surname12@e-uvt.ro) and your own password must be used.
- For details regarding the WiFi networks present in the partner institutions, information regarding the connection to EduRoam within the respective institution must be found, most of them presenting in the web pages the connection ways.
III. Visitor access within the EduRoam network of the West University of Timişoara, students and staff from institutions affiliated to the EduRoam system can connect to the EduRoam network using their own authentication credentials from the home institution.
As authentication is performed by accessing the authentication systems of the home institution, the authentication details must be followed according to the instructions provided by that institution.
